UFC 142 Knockout is Straight Out of Mortal Kombat

Is this art imitating life, or life imitating ridiculously awesome Mortal Kombat moves?
UFC 142 was one of the most exciting MMA events we’ve seen in a while, but nothing about it was crazier than the spinning wheel kick knockout from Edson Barboza.
MMABoom: “Barboza’s knockout was eerily similar to Dan Henderson’s on Michael Bisping at UFC 100, although how it came about was completely different. Henderson finished his fight with a right hand, while Barboza landed one of the most ridiculous kicks we’ve ever seen in competition…”
When Barboza knocked Terry Etim out cold, I’m sure he didn’t plan it to be Sub-Zero cold, but that’s exactly what it looked like. I was half-expecting Barboza to jump back on him and rip out his spleen. Then again, maybe that finisher only works on Brock Lesnar. Yeah, I went there. And as long as you’re retired Brock, I’ll keep going there. I’m a man of opportunity.
What do you think, which one looks more like a video game to you? I’m having a hard time telling the difference. Then again, I’m cartoon blind so there you go. Now my big secret is out.

This kick was only #9 on sports center top plays. Lmao what a joke! #9? Really?
